Koshin Ponstar PBX4 submersible pumps, heavy duty construction and unbeatable performance. Capacitor start, induction run motor for extra starting torque. Mostly of an alloy construction with a stainless steel motor casing, volute plate and shaft. Cast iron impeller. Pump casing, lower motor casing, top motor cover made from alloy. 

Fitted with a heavy duty handle and twin air valves to prevent running dry.

Twin mechanical seals, carbon ceramic and silicon carbide, in a lubricated chamber. Complete with a 10m power cable.

Automatic version fitted with a unique plug and play system MAC 3 float (0438200)

FEATURES
Trouble free operation, even in low water or dry-run situations!
With air valve function.

The PBX dry-run capability. When the PBX pump is running dry (without water), the motor is cooled by air, forced through the pump by the impeller and exiting the pump via the air valve. Preventing the motor from overheating.

Pump operating and discharging water. When the pump operates normally, the air valves will be closed by the water pressure inside the pump.
  
Effective motor cooling system. Water is channeled through the outer wall to cool the motor for maximum endurance
