Headquartered in Burr Ridge, Illinois, Tuthill is an international manufacturer and distributor of highly-engineered, machined products that are sold to industrial markets, including pumps, blowers, vacuum pumps, linkage and control assemblies, suspension and couplings.  James B. Tuthill, the great-grandfather of the current owner, founded the Tuthill Pump Company in 1927 to market a newly designed internal gear pump.  The Company began its expansion program in the early 1960s under the leadership of James G. Tuthill, the founder's grandson, and the current Tuthill Corporation was formed in 1977 through a Delaware reincorporation.
